holy trinity

"Trinity" as a word isn't in the Bible.  But God The Holy Trinity is all over it.

The concept is only hinted at in the Old Testament.  Those three "men" in Genesis 18 are called "Lord" by Abraham and are depicted as The Trinity in the Rublev Icon of the 15th century.  Isaiah 63:16 speaks of the Father, Psalm 33:6 praises The Word (The Son from John 1), and Isaiah 61 references The Spirit of The Lord being on the Anointed One.  We are told in Isaiah 9:6 of the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, which many see as referring to God The Holy Trinity.

The Reality of The Trinity is full-blown in the New Testament.  Jesus claims that He and The Father are One (John 10:30), and Paul states that Jesus is co-equal with God (Philippians 2:6).  Jesus speaks of the Spirit of Truth coming from The Father Who will testify about Jesus (John 15:26).  And there are Trinitarian formulas all over, such as the Great Commission's baptism in The Name of The Father and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

"Trinity" came to sum up the Nature of our God as being three Coequal, Coeternal, Divine Persons (the Who of God) Who share one Substance (the What of God).  The Creeds of the faithful church further clarified this essential Reality.  At the core of everything that exists, including us, is One God Who is in relationship.  We are created to be in relationship with Him and others.

Is God The Holy Trinity only hinted at in your life, or is He the Core Reality of your life?  Do you have a relationship with the Triune God as did Jesus, shown in John 15-17?  If so, then rejoice in the Beauty and Power of this amazing God.  If not, then allow Him to reintroduce Himself to you, in His Fulness.
